Since 1.998 helping Dxers to obtain QSL

Host by Winter Monges

In 1985 I was working at the bank as a cashier, I live far from my job and I leaved the home early in the morning and arrived at 09:00 PM (01:00 UTC). I have a dinner, go to bed, and the day after I did start with the same routine.

The same year I brought a little KASUGA RADIO TAPE (Made in Taiwan) with three bands (AM,FM and SW). In Barquisimeto, there not existed FM so I used to listen some local AM stations like Radio Barquisimeto, Radio Juventud 840, Radio Cristal, Radio Tricolor 990 and others. After a month I was tired to listened the same music and the same speakers, so I decided to try SW band with the lucky that I captioned “El Circuito”,  a BBC Spanish program every Friday at 02:00UTC(?) and the speakers said: “well now we will read a letter from Venezuela, write it by Jose Alberto Lerga who live in  Punto Fijo, Estado Falcon. That motioned me a lot of and I mark with a knife the dial position in order I could listened the station on Saturday. I started to practice a  hobby that after some months I discovered was called Dxing.

My brother, Clemente Monges, used to work at Radio Barquisimeto, Radio Juventud and Radio Lara, and dxers send me reports to got qsl, so I decided to organized a service to help dxers to obtain the qsl and they only should cover the postal service and in some case, calling and fax service. The cost should be send it to me only when dxer get the qsl on their hands.

At the moment, I have received more than 700 reception reports from all over the world and I have obtain a lot of verifications.
